Nausori Police have taken two people into custody who allegedly raped a teenage girl on early Friday morning in Nausori.
Police have confirmed the two were arrested from a settlement in Nausori earlier today and have been detained at the station.
Police said they are questioning the two in relation to the alleged case and charges are expected to be laid tomorrow.
The girl was waiting for transport to go to her aunt’s place when the suspects came in a vehicle and upon forcing the girl into the vehicle, they took her to an isolated area where they allegedly assaulted and raped the young girl.
