Two Fijians will feature for the defending super rugby champions the Chiefs when they take on the Highlanders tomorrow.
Patrick Osborne will make his debut on the right wing while Asaeli Tikoirotuma will wear the number 11 jumper.
Coach Dave Rennie said it's good to finally start the competition and knows the team have been training hard and are looking forward to getting stuck into it, especially the new caps.
Injuries has also forced Rennie to name a new look backline for the clash.
Andrew Horrell, Robbie Robinson, Brendon Leonard and Richard Kahui are out due to injury.
At 6.35pm tomorrow, the Chiefs will play the Highlanders and the Rebels will take on the Brumbies at 8.40pm.
On Saturday the Stormers will meet the Bulls at 5:10am, Blues will meet the Hurricanes at 6:35pm while at 8.40pm the Reds play the Waratahs.
