The two Australian and NZ Air Force aircraft currently in Fiji are continuing to assist in relief efforts and aerial surveys.

NZ Air Force Squadron Leader, Kavae Tamariki said the crew of the Hercules began to build up a picture of the situation ye4sterday and it is hoped that this can be finalised today.


The First Secretary Development at the NZ High Commission in Fiji, Tom Wilson said they are working with the Fiji authorities by providing the emergency supplies and also assisting in ascertaining the true picture on the extent of damage in the Northern and Eastern division.
