A one year old boy of Lautoka allegedly consumed kerosene from a cup that was left on the kitchen table by his brother.
Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said the two children were left alone at home and it is alleged the victim's 14 year old brother had left the cup filled with kerosene while he searched for matches and upon his return he saw his brother standing with the cup.
According to Police, their neighbors were alerted and the boy was rushed to the Lautoka hospital where he is currently kept under observation.
Naisoro confirmed that Police will question the parents regarding the alleged incident.
