Nausori Police have arrested and charged a 23 year old villager of Naselai for allegedly raping an 18 year old girl.
The alleged incident took place this week however the man was on the run following the incident.
He was arrested and charged yesterday.
The alleged rape took place near the Rewa River.
The girl allegedly passed some remarks to the man who then took her near the river and allegedly raped her.
He has been remanded in custody.
