Police are investigating an incident in Lami yesterday where an 18 year old student drowned while swimming in Veisari river.
Crime Officer for Lami the Police Station, Inspector Dewan Chand confirms the student went swimming with his friends after playing rugby near the river on Thursday afternoon when he drowned.
A search was conducted and his body was found in the same spot where he dove.
