17 teams are confirmed to take part in the Pacific Energy Ovalau 7s tournament which will kick off this weekend.
Tournament Organizer, Seresio Druguta said teams can expect a totally different tournament this year with the new inclusion of the Samoa national team.
Druguta said this tournament will boost and not only provide an incredible show but also help the development of sports in Ovalau.
Meanwhile, the Samoa national team which will be led by Damian McGrath said they will be using this tournament as their final preparations for the Oceania Region Qualification Tournament for the Rio Olympics in Auckland in mid-November.
The Pacific Energy Ovalau 7s tournament will be held this Friday and Saturday at Nasau Park with a total of $3000 prize money for the Cup winner and $1500 for the Runner‑up.
