Police have laid charges on a 16 year old girl for giving wrong information to a police officer.
Police spokesperson Western Wame Bautolu said the girl gave wrong information claiming she was raped by her 28 year old step father sometime between 16th to 17th March.
According to the Police, the matter was reported to the police on 22nd March after the victim was allegedly assaulted by the suspect.
The 28 year old step father was questioned and released after he was taken into custody for questioning on the alleged rape incident.
