A 16-year-old boy who is alleged to have raped a 17-year-old girl in a village in Nausori on Thursday evening is in Police custody.
Police spokesperson Inspector Josaia Weicavu said the 17-year-old girl had gone to use the washroom outside her house when the alleged incident took place.
The 16-year-old boy is expected to appear in the Nausori Magistrates Court on Monday.
