The naming of the Vodafone Fiji 7s 16 member squad has been delayed due to some key players suffering injuries in the Nukubati Resort Macuata Youth Provincial 7s tournament.
This has been confirmed by Coach, Ben Ryan.
Ryan was supposed to announce his 16 member squad for the Dubai and South Africa 7s today.
Eminoni Nasilasila suffered a chest injury and is still being assessed while Donasio Ratubuli is likely to miss the World Rugby season opener after breaking his leg.
Ryan says some other players suffered knocks and bruises.
Ryan also says he will name the final 12 member team next Friday.
