Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan will be announcing his 16 member squad for the Dubai 7s after the Nukubati Resort Macuata Youth Provincial 7s next Thursday in Labasa.
Ryan said he will be fielding two Fiji teams to participate in the tournament which will also have other big teams such as Wardens Gold and Green, Police, Army Green and First Light Taveuni.
The 26 players part of the Vodafone Fiji Sevens training squad will have to deliver their best performance in the Nukubati Resort Macuata Youth Provincial 7s next Thursday to make the cut for the next 16.
Ryan added that Toulouse based Semi Kunatani will miss the first leg and will join the team later in the series.
Meanwhile the final 12 players will be named on the 19th of this month.
The Nukubati Resort Macuata Youth Provincial 7s will be held next Wednesday and Thursday at Subrail Park in Labasa.
The winner will win $3,000.
