The Women's Crisis Centre is trying to get to the core of domestic violence problems in the community and in an effort to do so it has organized its 16 days of activism in the western division.

The Councilor Advocate for the Nadi Women's Crisis Centre, Reshmi Singh said this year's theme is Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence on women and children.

Singh said they will be covering the Nadi, Lautoka and Sigatoka areas during the 16 days and the first day of program started today at the Nadi Centre.
