A 16 year old girl is admitted at the CWM Hospital after she was brutally assaulted and raped by a 20 year old man in Tailevu yesterday.
The victim was on her way to the nearby village when the suspect approached her. He then assaulted her before raping her repeatedly.
The victim, who is a form 5 student, returned home and informed her mother who then took her to the Wainibokasi Hospital where she was then transferred to the CWM Hospital.
The suspect is now in custody at the Nausori Police Station.
