A 15 year old boy drowned while swimming yesterday in Levuka.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Suliano Tevita confirmed that the 15 year old boy was swimming with his friends in Ovalau Levuka yesterday afternoon when he went missing.
A search was conducted after which the boy was rushed to the hospital however was pronounced dead.
This is the first drowning incident for this year compared to five last year for the same period.
