The Fiji Rugby Union has today announced a 15-member sevens squad to prepare for the World Games.

Included in the squad is Digicel Fiji 7s captain Vereniki Goneva, who is tipped to be going overseas on a contract.

When contacted by Fijivillage, Goneva said that the details of the contract is still sketchy at the moment, and he is excited to be included in the squad to prepare for the World Games.

Other names in the squad include Seremaia Burotu, Suliasi Ramasima, Watisoni Votu, Niumaia Cakacaka, Nasoni Roko, Emosi Vucago, Jolame Bera, Jiuta Lutumailagi, Pio Tuwai, Apisai Nayabo, Waqabaca Kotobalavu, Orisi Sareki, Peni Rokodiva and Sionasa Vunisa.

The World Games will be held on the 24th and 25th of this month in Chinese Taipei.
