The Communications Ministry has now started scrutinizing the 15 applications received from parties interested to start providing mobile phones services in the country.
Speaking to Village news Permanent Secretary Amena Yauvoli confirms that there are some major operators who have applied for a license.
Yauvoli stresses that there is a strict criteria to be met and the final decision will be made some time next month.
