Nadi Police are hunting for a man who allegedly lured a 15-year-old girl to his house and raped her on several occasions between September and October this year.
Divisional Police Commander Western SSP Fesaitu Kava had confirmed the man whose identity is known to police is on the run.
SSP Kava had also confirmed that the victim who is from a broken family was in Nadi Town when the man took her to his home under the pretext of providing shelter and food.
It is then alleged that the man took her to several motels in Nadi on several occasions and gave her liquor.
According to police the man then forced his way on her and each time he raped her, he would also threaten her.
This continued for more than a month and late this week the girl reported the matter to police.
A team of officers are looking for the man.
