As of yesterday afternoon only 15 evacuation centers in the Central and Western Divisions are operational.
DISMAC Team Leader Aisea Quminakelo confirmed that in the Western Division Salvation Army Centre is open accommodating 11 people and in the Central Division more than 500 people are still taking shelter at the evacuation centers.
A number of evacuation centres are in Naitasiri including Naqali Community Hall, Naitasiri School, Naluwai Community Hall and
Narukuruku Vakatini Primary School.
The Laucala Community Hall and Moivuso community hall are still operating as evacuation centers in Rewa.
