Police booked a total of 148 people for speeding and not wearing seat belts while 20 people were arrested for drunk driving in the Western Division over the weekend.
Divisional Traffic Officer Western, ASP Richard Raju said the number has drastically increased from previous weekends and it clearly shows that drivers are becoming more irresponsible.
