Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach Ben Ryan will name his 14 players for the Wellington and Sydney 7s today.
Ryan says Viliame Mata is out due to an injury and Semi Kunatani is expected to replace him.
He adds that Eminoni Nasilasila is also fit while Mitieli Nacagilevu will need to get fitter.
Some key players who are likely to make the team are Apisai Domolailai, Jasa Veremalua, Pio Tuwai, Osea Kolinisau, Savenaca Rawaca, Jerry Tuwai, Emosi Mulevoro, Isake Katonibau and Vatemo Ravouvou.
It will be a big surprise if any new players are named today.
Some of the players in the extended squad include former Labasa goalkeeper and Wardens rover, Filipo Daugunu, Uluinakau’s Josua Vici and Westfield’s Maisivesi Dakuwaqa.
Fiji is in Pool B with Japan, Wales and Argentina in the Wellington tournament.
They will take on Japan at 12.36pm next Saturday.
Fiji will face Wales at 3.38pm and take on Argentina at 6.46pm next Saturday.
The Wellington 7s will be held next Saturday and Sunday.
