A 22 year old villager of Lautoka has been arrested and charged for indecently assaulting a 12 year girl on Sunday night.
Police said the villager came to visit the victims family on Sunday night and allegedly lured the girl to a cassava patch where he indecently assaulted her.
The girl informed her parents regarding the alleged incident who then reported the matter to Police.
The villager will appear in the Lautoka Magistrate Court today.
