12 players are currently training for the Digicel Fiji 7s team for this weekend’s Fiji Water Centennial Oceania 7s tournament.
Team manager Isei Rayawa said at the moment former national coach Alifereti Dere is working with the side and he will work with Ben Ryan this week.
Rayawa added the final team will be named by Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Rugby Union is urging the fans to come out in numbers for this weekend’s Fiji Water Centennial Oceania and International 7s tournament.
FRU Chairman Filimoni Waqabaca said the impact on our economy will be huge if Fiji gets a leg of the IRB World Series.
Waqabaca added it is about time we show the world that we are capable of hosting an international tournament.
The Fiji Water Centennial 7s tournament will be played this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ stadium.
