Christmas is a time spent with family and friends at home but not for twelve families who will be spending this Christmas at an Evacuation Centre.
DISMAC Relief Manager, Anthony Blake told Fijivillage that even though all evacuation centres in the central division closed as of this morning, two evacuation centres in the Western Division are still open.
Blake said with the damage assessments still underway, more than 6,500 people were affected by Cyclone Mick in the Central Division.
Meanwhile Telecom Fiji Group of Companies today donated food rations for those who were badly affected by floods in the Central and Western Division.
