12 student athletes from the Gospel School of the Deaf in Suva will be travelling to the USA for the first time.
The students will be going under a US State Department funded track and field program where they will train and visit various schools in the US.
School Director Jim Cooney said they are looking at inspiring the students with the tour as they will also be part of a cultural exchange program.
The athletes will leave at the end of this month and will return on the 13th of next month
