12 athletes are being eyed by Athletics Fiji to undergo a training program, before a final eight member team will be selected to represent Fiji at the Oceania Championships in Cairns Australia.
The squad is mainly made up of Secondary School students who recently competed at the Coca Cola games.
Athletes like Ratu Tira Narara, Roy Ravana, Miriama Senokonoko and Beniamino Maravu are part of the squad.
