The Public Rental Board will soon start the construction of twelve flats in Savusavu which will be rented out to people.
PRB General Manager, Mesake Senibulu said they have already received nine applications from people residing in Savusavu for flats.
Meanwhile, people can expect new and affordable flats in Raiwai and Raiwaqa as the PRB has already started work on the demolished sites.
Senibulu confirmed that they are in the process of securing a loan from a Chinese bank worth around $20 million which will be used to build these flats.
