Twelve countries have so far indicated their intention to attend the Pacific youth festival which will be held in Suva.

Kiribati, Tonga, Nauru, Federated States of Micronesia, American Samoa, Niue, Cook Islands, Marshall Islands, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Tuvalu and Wallis and Futuna have so far confirmed their participation.

Interim Education Minister, Filipe Bole says the festival will not only aim to set the platform for the regional auctioning of the youth agenda but promises to be an educational and empowering event for all youth participants.

The Pacific youth festival will be held in July in Suva.
