The Fiji Rugby Union has confirmed that eleven more Vodafone Fiji 7's players have signed their contracts, now taking the total number of contracted players to 12.
FRU is yet to reveal the names of the players that have been contracted.
Vodafone Fiji Sevens Coach, Ben Ryan said this is a huge step for Fijian Rugby and that it will also help him in his preparation for the Olympics and the HSBC World Sevens Series.
He said this is yet another step in making the Fiji 7's side the best team in the world.
Ryan said all players in Fiji can now aspire to be awarded a professional contract.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 7's team will march into camp next Wednesday for their final preparations for the Dubai and South Africa 7's.
The Dubai Sevens will be held from the 5th to the 7th of December.
