At 3 o'clock this morning 10 year old Vunaki Waqa of Levuka woke up to bring his $10 donation to Suva for Children fighting Cancer.

Accompanying Waqa was his dad Penisimani Baleilovoni, who said his son was inspired by the story on our sister station Viti FM of the 3 Nakanacagi siblings who gave their spending money towards the Walk on Walk Strong campaign.

Baleilovoni added that it meant everything to him to fulfill his son's request to also make his donation.

So rising early today from the interior of Lovoni, the two made a one and a half hour long trip to the Buresala wharf to leave for Suva.

According to Baleilovoni whatever Waqa has offered may be little but his son will indeed be one happy boy returning to Levuka today.

A nationwide appeal will also be held on the 4th of next month.

If you want to make donations, the Westpac Suva CFL appeal account number is 9800935794.

You can also drop by the home of Fijivillage at 231 Waimanu Road between now and August 4th to make your donations.

If you want to contact the Walk On Walk Strong organizers, you can contact founder Sina Kami on sinakami@gmail.com.
