100m heats to be held on day one of Coca Cola Games

The 100 metres heats will be held on day one of the competition at this year's Coca Cola Games.

Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association Secretary General and Tournament Director, Vuli Waqa confirms that this will enable them to finish early on Day 2 and Day 3.

Waqa says competition on Day 1 will start at 4 in the afternoon and end at 8 in the evening.

He says the number of schools participating this year has decreased.

The Coca Cola Games Torch will not be taken around the country this year.

Waqa confirms the torch will only be carried from the Coca Cola Amatil factory to the ANZ Stadium.

The Coca Cola Games will be held from the 28^th to the 30^th of this month.
