A 100% tax rebate incentive will be given to cash sponsors of the Pacific Youth Festival in Fiji.
The Acting Minister for Education, Youth and Sports, Dr Neil Sharma said the Festival scheduled for 11th to 18th of next month at the University of the South Pacific Campus will see a possibility of 22 countries taking part in it.
Dr Sharma said 240 youths will be employed during the Festival period as this event presents an opportunity for Fiji to showcase its young people and allow them to shine alongside their regional peers.
He said the government has provided $900,000 for the hosting of this event with the remaining funds to be sourced through sponsorships.
