While the deadline draws near for employers to pay outstanding FNPF contributions, the Fiji Employers Federation said none of its members are part of the list of defaulting employers.
The FNPF has given 10 working days for employers to clear outstanding FNPF contributions owed to their workers and make arrangements to settle their accounts, otherwise names will be forwarded to the Director of Immigration for further action.
President Nesbitt Hazelman said their close to 500 members have been paying their contributions on time.
Hazelman earlier stated that the Federation believes the action taken by the FNPF to forward names of defaulting employers should have been the last step of action to take, adding they believe that the FNPF has the mechanism to collect the outstanding fees.
The total figure owned by employers for unpaid contributions for the financial year 2009 stands at close to $7million.
The ten day deadline ends this Friday.
