Ten teams will remain in the Super Premier division next year as the Fiji Football Association has reversed the decision to demote two teams to the Premier Division.
In Fiji FA's annual general meeting last night, Nasinu soccer patron, Sada Shivan Naicker moved a motion to keep ten teams in the Super Premier division next year which most district association delegates supported.
Fiji FA President, Dr Samsu Dean Sahu Khan said most district associations supported the idea and they have to abide by it.
He added Nasinu will now have to play promotion relegation series against Savusavu.
In an another issue where Lautoka soccer association had claimed that their protest against Rewa was pending, Sahu Khan revealed Fiji FA will now seek help from FIFA as evidence has come forward that the ITC that was given for the Nigerian player was allegedly forged.
Sahu Khan said Lautoka soccer has come up with evidence that the player Rewa fielded against Lautoka in the National soccer league match had allegedly produced fake International Transfer Certificate.
Sahu Khan also stressed that Fiji FA will announce the league winner once the decision is made on the particular protest.
This means that Ba which currently leads the points table will also have to wait for the investigation outcome to know if they are the National Soccer League winners.
Meanwhile, Yogeshwar Singh was elected the Vice President of the Fiji FA last night.
Faiyaz Ali had resigned from the position earlier this year.
