The Suva area will need ten early tsunami warning system if it is to be implemented.
This is what Safeway Electronics Director Tauz Khan revealed saying if the project was given the go ahead from relevant authorities after the success of the pilot project which was initially tested along the Suva-Laucala area, they would install a further ten systems along the Suva Peninsula.
Khan added there are two different warning systems which would be implemented depending on the location.
Khan added a meeting will be held next week on the 13th of October with DISMAC officials.
