Save the Children Fiji is looking at a ten week programme to assist students who were badly affected by flood.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Save the Children Fiji Chief Executive Officer Chandra Shekhar said children's education is their main priority and the flood has left many of the families affected with some of them losing all of their belongings.

He also said they are in the process of finalizing their programme with their international partners for funds after which they will be mobilized to assist the students.

Shekhar also said that during the ten week programme the students will be assisted with their bus fares and lunch adding that during this time the parents will recover from the effects of the flood.
