The bodies of 10 people who died in the horrific Raiwaqa bus fire in Naevuevu, Sigatoka on the 28th of last month are still in the mortuary.

Director Traffic SSP Ramend Raj had confirmed so far only two bodies have been released for burial. Those were the bodies of the 2 who passed away at the CWM hospital days after the accident.

SSP Raj said the bodies of the 10 who died in the bus on the night of the accident are still kept at CWM Hospital for further tests.

He said the bodies may be released once a detailed report is received from the Australian Federal Police, who were here to investigate the death soon after the tragic accident took place.
