A 23 year old unemployed man charged with act with intent to cause grievous harm was today remanded in custody by the Nadi Magistrate court.
Vishal Raju of Nadi is alleged to have knifed his partner during a domestic dispute.
The alleged incident happened around 1pm on Saturday in Navakai, Nadi when the two were arguing.
It is alleged that the two were preparing lunch when the fight broke out and as a result the man got hold of a chopper and knifed her on the back of her neck.
Raju=s plea has been deferred and the matter has been adjourned till 5th May.
