Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School has created history as they have won the girls division of the 2024 Coca Cola Games based on the fijivillage medal tally where they have finished in first place with 13 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze medals.
Suva Grammar School is in second place with 8 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze.
Adi Cakobau School is in third place with 3 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze.
Natabua High School and Ratu Sukuna Memorial School are tied at fourth place with 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.
Defending boys champions, Marist Brothers High School has successfully defended the Coca Cola Games boys division title as they have finished in first place with 16 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze.
Suva Grammar School is in second place with 6 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze.
Queen Victoria School is in third place with 5 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.
MGM is in fourth place with 3 gold and 6 silver.
Back in 2022, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School Principal Sanjay Raman had said in an interview with fijivillage News that they had set the target to win the boys and girls titles in the 2025 Coca-Cola Games.
The school which had never won the 100 metres Senior Girls and Boys events created history in the Coke Games in 2022 when Waisale Inoke won the Senior Boys 100 metres while Kesaia Boletanakadavu won the Senior Girls 100 metres event.
Raman highlighted that in their long-term plan, they want to take part in all sports including rugby.
