It’s the final day today for all Provincial rugby unions to submit the names of their candidates vying for a place on the Fiji Rugby Union Board in next Saturday's Annual General Meeting.

Under the FRU Constitution, all Unions will have to hand in their nominees with a week to go for the AGM.

Alot is at stake in this meeting, after most Unions are calling for the current Board members to be removed.

Major Unions like Nadroga, Lautoka, Tailevu, Navosa, Ovalau and Namosi have expressed their concern with the current FRU Board members.

Meanwhile, current FRU Board Chairman Keni Dakuidreketi will be re-endorsed by the Naitasiri Rugby Union. Naitasiri and Suva have the most votes in the AGM as they have the biggest number of clubs playing in their union.

The FRU AGM will be held at the Nasova Police Academy next Saturday.
