A 3-year-old boy has become the latest road victim.
This incident occurred yesterday afternoon along Lovonivou Northern Coastal Road in Taveuni where the boy was hit by a vehicle that was driven by a 32 year old service station attendant.
According to Police, the boy was walking along the road with his parents when he allegedly ran across the road.
The victim was later taken to the Taveuni Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The suspect is in custody as police investigation continues.
